SUMMARY:Participate! Best Practice: Exhibition opening: Right within the City
DESCRIPTION:From March 15th on\, we invite people from Zentralwerk and its environment to work on the exhibition Right within the City / Mitten in der Stadt together. \nEvery Friday from 15.00 – 19.00 we use the exhibition room Kabinett as a workshop\, in which we look into Zentralwerk’s current societal localisation. Our starting point is the history of the premises as an industrial site and the prevailing very different conditions of production – from forced labour with following deportation during Nazi times\, to largely self-determined\, cultural production of the present. \nIn every meeting\, a different question will be in the foreground. The thoughts that come up in discussion will have then be given space in the exhibition. In this way\, an image that combines different points of view of inner and outer perspective\, gains in complexity every week. \nA first intermediate result of the project can be seen on May 5th at Offenes Werk. On May 17th at 15.00\, the interactive exhibition that we are developing together with architect and urbanist Gabu Heindl\, will be opened. In the following weeks\, the exhibition can be developed further by participants and participants. \nWorkshop faciliator: Gabu Heindl
