On a voyage. Workshop on art in the countryside

Within the workshop, the participants will fold a giant paper ship based on the origami folding instruction we are all are familiar with from school times. Afterwards the vessel will be shouldered and carried through the city of Dresden to the banks of the Elbe. There, the paper vehicle finally runs off the stack to begin its journey into the unknown.

This voyage focuses on the childhood dream of taking the simplest of means – a sheet of paper and a little imagination – and using it to create a vehicle with which to travel into the unlimited realms of fantasy.
