Coming together – inclusive dance workshop

farbwerk e.V. is an inclusive art and culture association that has been working artistically for over 10 years. The workshop gives an insight into the work of the project Coming together and invites to get to know the dance ensemble’s approaches and modes of operation and to gather experiences in an inclusive ensemble.

In practice, we keep experiencing that fears and barriers, also in the minds of professional artists, make collaborative, inclusive work with disabled people difficult. By taking an inventory of the experiences created in the artistic process, the workshop wants to positively influence dismantling borders, and contribute to cultural creators opening themselves up to inclusive artistic work. The workshop shall encourage participants to meet in unusual ways, different from everyday behaviour and shall allow raised awareness.

Additionally to the active workshop part, farbwerk e.V. will present their further artistic work and will invite to conversation and exchange.
